We ordered the smoked brisket sandwich, fried pickles and beef and elk chili. All three are a recommended choice. The service I must admit was exceptional (ask for Kelly). This small town restaurant is a must stop for all passing through.

Surprisingly good food and drinks for a small town! I was further surprised by option of gluten free bread, as well as the sheer size of the place. They are well equipped to handle the summer crowds. Service was good. My cocktail was refreshing and not too sweet. There were a number of flies on the patio, but not a huge deal. It was fun to play horseshoes after dinner. I would definitely come back on my next visit!

Well....had to go to Payson and I love Pine...first off the entry is confusing ..but one inside there is large bar, several outside patios and a small dining room. Everything is home made..I had the bratwurst which was really good. The bun, not so much, which was almost a stale hot dog bun. Homemade mustard was good, along with the pasta salad which again was scratch made and very good...not too much Mayo which is key to me personally. My compadre had the brisket sandwich which looked amazing...hand cut brisket on Texas toast, he elected for the scratch made slaw. I love a day trip to Strawberry/Pine and will definitely come back again! Didn't get our server's name but she was very friendly and provided beefy good service!

Great patio, great service, love the location! Food is decent brewery/pub food! I've had a few of their burgers, appetizers and sandwiches! We love that they are dog friendly. They're usually pretty busy right when they open so be sure to plan ahead! They often play live music on the weekends and everyone is really friendly! Worth taking a day trip to from Phoenix!
